We wanted to provide a quick update about the trip to Uganda, 2013. As stated in our previous blogpost, as of April, we are not going to be taking a trip to Uganda this year. We will, however, have a team going to Uganda that will seek to accomplish the same mission that is in our heart. This vision has transformed over these last few months as to exactly how we are going to accomplish the vision of evangelism, church planting, and care for orphans in widows in East Africa.
We are now starting a widows and orphan project in Adilang, Uganda that will seek to empower the local church to begin to care for their own destitute (click here for details on the Adilang Project). This year, we will construct the storeroom that is talked about under the Adilang project, start gardens with some of the families in Adilang, and continue to gather stories and information from the war-victims of northern Uganda.

The team leaves in mid-July, so please keep them in your prayers. We will try to update one more time with specific requests in July. If you feel stirred to help fund the trip or project, please click here.
