Dear friends and family,
The Uganda 2013 trip has been a great success. We hope to make some posts in the coming weeks in regards to the Adilang Project and what the Lord has done in the north of Uganda.
But right now, we are coming again in need of prayer and support.
We still have a team member that is remaining in Uganda with a few nationals that is planning a trek across the Uganda border into South Sudan. This is a key moment in the overall vision that we desire to see take place in East Africa, which is that the Christians in the south of Uganda would begin going north to take the gospel to those that have not heard it before.
With this being said, we are praying for the safety of our team member from the States and the national Ugandan partners that are going deep into South Sudan to meet a potential ministry partner that we have connected with. We are hoping to take water filters to this man in South Sudan, pray for their safe arrival and effectiveness in working. We are also asking for prayer for this new friend of ours, Eridard, and the ministry that he has in South Sudan. Pray for the orphaned children that he ministers to, that the local church would be effective in preaching the true Gospel to the lost, and that the Lord would provide light and hope in a place that has experienced much darkness.
Also, if you are stirred to help us financially to provide clean water and the Gospel of Jesus to the needy in South Sudan, please click here to donate and put "water filters" in the message line. If you would like to read more about the water filters project please click here.
We hope to bring more updates soon: we will post about the success of the trip into Adilang and the project that is now underway there and about the trip into South Sudan in the coming weeks.
